[For part I, see the author, ibid., 473-489 (1988; Zbl 0671.93004).] Under some assumptions the author investigates discrete-time approximations of linear time-delay retarded-type systems. In order to study such fundamental properties of the systems as controllability, local identifiability, observability and others he gives analytic expressions of exponential type for the fundamental matrix, in particular.
