This paper is a continuation of part I of this paper [see the authors, Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 103, No.1, 1-8 (1988; Zbl 0656.13007)]. In this part II the authors show that a ring is strongly scalar-reflexive if and only if it is a finite direct sum of maximal valuation rings. They also show that a local ring is a scalar-reflexive if and only if it is an almost maximal valuation ring. In addition, they show that every Dedekind domain is scalar-reflexive, and they completely characterize the scalar- reflexive modules of a PID. They show that every non-torsion module over a domain is scalar-reflexive.
