This paper is concerned with the Bernstein-type integral operators given by \[ M_ n(f,x)=(n+1)\sum^{n}_{k=0}P_{n,k}(x)\int^{1}_{0}P_{n,k}(t)f(t) dt, \] where \(P_{n,k}(x)=\left( \begin{matrix} n\\ k\end{matrix} \right)x^ k(1-x)^{n-k}\). It is known that they have nice properties. The authors study the relation between derivatives of \(M_ nf\), the rate of approximation of \(M_ n\), and the smoothness of the function f.
