The authors discuss some aspects in connection with a certain stability of the interpolating rational functions. The main result is the following: The rational function of minimal MacMillan degree interpolating a given array of points, together with an associated so- called mirror-image array of points, is stable in the sense that it is bounded inside (outside) the closed unit disc, whenever the points in the initial given array are inside (outside) the unit disc. As an application, it is shown that if a certain number of Markov parameters are given, by appropriate choice of the moments stable realizations are obtained.
