The authors consider completely integrable equations which are given by a zero curvature condition with respect to a connection having values in the super Lie algebra osp(N,2). The zero curvature compatibility conditions lead to coupled nonlinear systems with bosonic and fermionic components. For \(N=1,2\) the AKNS-reductions of such systems give the known fermionic extensions of the well-known classical integrable systems. The authors concentrate on the case for general N and present the corresponding AKNS-reductions. Furthermore, they prove the bi- hamiltonian nature of this general case.
