The problems of finding minimal solutions of a fuzzy relational equation in the finite and linear case have been solved by several authors [e.g. \textit{C. P. Pappis} and \textit{M. Sugeno}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 15, 79-90 (1985; Zbl 0561.04003)]. In the paper under review, the author considers the problem for Brouwerian lattices; a practical method for constructing minimal and other solutions is supplied. Furthermore, for a more general case, namely for the infinitely distributive lattices, there are also some interesting results.
