    The full dual space of the quantum universal enveloping algebra \(U=U_ q(\mathfrak{sl}(2))\) is equipped with the weak *-topology. The coordinate ring \(\mathcal A(\text{SL}(2))\) of the algebraic quantum group \(\text{SL}_q(2)\) and the set \(\mathcal A[[\text{SL}_q(2)]]\) of formally analytic elements in the full dual space are constructed. The main theorem in this paper is that \(\mathcal A[[\text{SL}_q(2)]]\) is a direct sum of the spaces of relatively invariant elements in the full dual space with respect to the maximal compact subgroup.
