A smooth surface S is bielliptic if \(K_ S\equiv 0\), \(q=1\), \(h^{0,2}=0\). The Picard group of bielliptic surfaces is described, and some of them are shown to be embeddable with degree 10 in \({\mathbb{P}}^ 4\), using Reider's criterion of very-ampleness.
