The authors study the ignition problem for the scalar Chapman-Jouget combustion model without convexity assumption. They introduce the pointwise and global entropy conditions and establish existence and uniqueness of the solution. The stability of the unburnt state is investigated. It is also demonstrated that the transitions of some different kinds of combustion waves appear in the nonconvex case under consideration.
