Let \(S=S_{g,n}\) be a surface of genus \(g\) with \(n\geq 1\) boundary components. There are two mapping class groups associated to \(S\); the bordered mapping class group \({\mathcal M} (S;\partial)=\pi_0 \text{ Diff}^+(S;\partial S)\), the group of isotopy classes of self-diffeomorphisms fixing the boundary pointwise, and the punctured mapping class group \({\mathcal M} (S)=\pi_0 \text{ Diff}^+(S;\partial_1 ,\partial_2 ,\ldots,\partial_n )\), the group of isotopy classes of orientation-preserving self-diffeomorphisms restricting to diffeomorphisms of each boundary component. The author constructs a graph complex to calculate the integral homology of some mapping class groups. The main results are the computation of the integral homology groups \(H_* ({\mathcal M} (S;\partial))\) for \(S_{1,1},S_{1,2}\) and \(S_{2,1}\), and \(H_* ({\mathcal M} (S);\mathbb Z)\) for \(S_{1,1}\) and \(S_{2,1}\). The first and second homology groups of these mapping class groups were already known and appeared in the literature.
