Function theory on the Neil parabola (Q2460990): Difference between revisions

The set \[ N := \{(z,w) \in \mathbb {D}^2: z^2 = w^3\} \] is the Neil parabola in the unit bidisk \(\mathbb {D}^2\). The author obtains the formula for the Carathéodory distance on the Neil parabola (Theorem 2.3), computes the infinitesimal pseudodistance for the Neil parabola (Theorem 2.4) and investigates the question of the extension of bounded holomorphic functions on the Neil parabola to the entire bidisk (Theorem 2.9).
