The authors study boundary conditions for nonself-mappings in a Banach space. They introduce a boundary condition which is based on \textit{B. R. Halpern} and \textit{G. M. Bergman}'s boundary condition in [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 130, 353--358 (1968; Zbl 0153.45602)] and give a sufficient condition for a nonexpansive nonself-map to satisfy their boundary condition. Moreover, they prove two strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive nonself-maps in a Banach space without any boundary conditions.
