In this paper the authors investigate the numerical solutions of integral and integro-differential equations using Legendre polynomials. A finite Legendre expansion is used on singularly perturbed Volterra integral equation, Volterra integro-differential equations and Volterra delay integro-differential equations. They analyze the convergence for particular equations. Some numerical experiments which show a marked improvement over some previous methods and which are equivalent to others are presented.
