The determination of the stable homotopy groups of spheres is one of the main problems of stable homotopy theory. The Adams spectral sequence is an effective tool to determine it. Its \(E_2\)-terms are isomorphic to the Ext groups Ext\(_{A}^{s,t}((\mathbb Z/2,\mathbb Z/2)\) for the mod \(2\) Steenrod algebra \(A\). In this paper the author determines the Ext groups for \(s=4\) and the \(\mathbb Z/2\)-submodule of decomposable elements in the Ext groups for \(s=5\). This is done by computing the Ext groups Ext\(_A^{s,t}(\tilde{H}^*(P),\mathbb Z/2)\) for the infinite real projective space \(P\), by use of the spectral sequence considered by \textit{R. L. Cohen, W. H. Lin} and \textit{M. E. Mahowald} in [Pac. J. Math. 134, 27--55 (1988; Zbl 0663.55011)], which is obtained by filtering the lambda algebra to compute the Ext groups. Indeed, the author determines completely some differentials of the spectral sequence.
