Hilbert's inequalities were extensively studied and many refinements or generalizations were appeared in the literature [see \textit{D.\,S.\thinspace Mitrinović}, ``Analytic inequalities'' (Grundlehren 165; Berlin etc.:\ Springer--Verlag) (1970; Zbl 0199.38101)]. The authors study the norm of a Hilbert's type linear operator, give some new generalizations of Hilbert's inequality, and consider some particular results.
