The group-theoretical analysis of nonlocal Benney equation (Q2472762): Difference between revisions

A general framework for point symmetry analysis of integro-differential equations is presented, which is derived from the requirement of invariance of the equation with respect to a symmetry group in the global form. The algorithm does not require the use of moments. The symmetry analysis procedure is applied to nonlocal Benney equation. For this equation, an optimal system of one-dimensional symmetry subalgebras is constructed, and reduced forms and invariant solutions are presented.
