The paper deals with the numbers \(B_{n,p}:=\frac{p}{n}\binom{2n}{n-p}\), \(n,p\in\mathbb{N}\), \(p\leq n\), in the Catalan triangle. The authors give proofs of known and of new identities for these numbers. They use elementary methods and mention some open questions related to possible combinatorial interpretations of (some of) their results.
