The author deals with the system of differential equation of the form \[ \begin{cases} \dot u(t) = p(v)(t)+q_1(t),\\ \dot v(t) = g(u)(t)+q_2(t), \end{cases} \] where \(p,g\) are bounded linear operators and \(q_1, q_2\) are measurable. He obtains efficient conditions for the operators \(p\) and \(g\), which guarantee that a certain maximum principle works for this system. He applies the result for a system with argument deviations.
