The authors study a possible continuation after quenching of solutions to a system of heat equations coupled at the boundary. The authors consider the simultaneous quenching case where they prove that a natural continuation after some certain time is possible. Also they present some partial results concerning the simultaneous case. Finally they perform some numerical experiments that illustrate their results and provide some insight for new conjectures.
