The authors consider the following synchronization problem: For the system of delay diferential equations \[ x'(t)=Ax+g(x(t)),\quad x\in\mathbb{R}^n, \] \[ y'(t)=Ay+g(y(t))+L(x(t-\tau)-y(t)),\quad y\in\mathbb{R}^n, \] where \(A\) is an \(n\times n\) constant matrix and \(g(x)\) is a Lipschitz continuous nonlinear function, \(L\) is the coupling matrix, and \(\tau>0\) is a delay, find conditions, for which the invariant manifold \(\{(x,y)|\;x(t-\tau)=y(t)\}\) is globally asymptotically stable. In their paper, the authors obtain conditions for stability of this manifold in the case when (1) has the specific form \[ x_1'=x_2,\quad x_2'=x_3,\quad x_3'=-ax_3-x_2+b-e^{x_1} \] using the Lyapunov function method.
