The authors study the localization of the spectrum of the boundary value problem \[ i\varepsilon\frac{d^2 y}{dz^2}+Q(z,\lambda)y=0,\qquad y(-1)=y(1)=0,\tag{*} \] where \(\varepsilon>0\) is the small parameter, and \(\lambda\) is the spectral variable. They assume that in a certain vicinity of the point \((0,\lambda_0)\) with \(Q(0,\lambda_0)=0\), the function \(Q(z,\lambda)\) is regular (holomorphic) and close to \(z-\lambda\) in the \(C^1\)-norm. Then, as \(\varepsilon\to 0\), the spectrum of problem (\(*\)) lying near the point \(\lambda_0\) concentrates on some well-defined curves. The equations of these curves and the asymptotics (with respect to \(\varepsilon\)) of individual eigenvalues are determined.
