In this paper, the conjecture of Fenn, Rourke and Sanderson that the third homology of the dihedral quandle \(R_p\) for \(p\) and odd prime is \(\mathbb{Z}\oplus \mathbb{Z}_p\) is confirmed. A conjecture is made that the rank of the torsion part of the \(n\)th homology of such quandles satisfies the ``delayed Fibonacci relation'' \(f_n=f_{n-1}-f_{n-3}\).
