    Feichtinger and Gröchenig developed in the 1980s the coorbit space theory. The authors of the paper under review give their generalization of the theory of coorbit spaces. They show why smooth representations make the construction easier. The authors also give examples that illustrate the use of generalized coorbit space theory.
