The author discusses here a hypothetical correspondence between holonomic \(\mathcal D\)-modules on an algebraic variety \(X\) over a characteristic zero field and certain families of Lagrangian subvarieties in the cotangent bundle of \(X\) (the supports of the \(\mathcal D\)-modules). This correspondence is based on the reduction to positive characteristic (for large enough primes).
