Linear differential-algebraic equations are considered with right-hand side consisting of a nonlinear Volterra operator. Assuming that the Volterra term is in some sense small and dependent on some multiplicative parameter \(\mu\), the dependence of the solution upon \(\mu\) is analyzed. Consequences for the design of numerical solution methods are presented.
