A general iterative scheme for angle-limited image reconstruction based on Landweber's method is introduced. A representation formula for this scheme is derived and its convergence conditions are established. The results of this paper suggests certain relaxation strategies for an accelerated convergence for angle-limited image reconstruction in the \(L^2\)-norm compared with alternative projection methods. The convolution-backprojection algorithm for this iterative process is also given.
