The Albanese map of a smooth Kähler manifold is expected to be surjective and smooth [\textit{J.-P. Demailly, T. Peternell, M. Schneider}, Compos. Math. 101, No. 2, 217--224 (1996; Zbl 1008.32008)]. In the note under review the authors improve known results and techniques to prove that for a smooth projective variety \(X\) with nef anticanonical class the Albanese map is equidimensional and with reduced fibers.
