The author is concerned with the stationary problem of bipolar models of semiconductors. On the interval \((0,1)\) he considers the system \(j_x= 0\), \(({j^2\over n}+ n)_x= n\varphi_x- j\), \(k_x= 0\), \(({k^2\over h}+ h)_x= -h\varphi_x- k\), \(\varphi_{xx}= n-h-D(x)\), together with the boundary conditions \(n|_{x=0}= n|_{x=1}= n_d> 0\), \(h|_{x=0}= h|_{x=1}= h_d> 0\), \(\varphi|_{x=0}= 0\), \(\varphi|_{x=1}= \varphi_r> 0\), where \(n\) and \(h\) are densities of the electron and the hole respectively, \(j\) and \(k\) are the current densities of the electron and the hole respectively, \(\varphi\) denotes electrostatic potential. The doping profile \(D\) is a known function, which represents the density of impurities in semiconductors. The author shows that if \(\varphi_r\) is small enough, then the classical solution of this boundary value problem is unique.
