Fixed a smooth curve over a perfect field of a positive characteristic and a regular surface over the curve. Take an open subvariety of the surface such that the complement is a normal crossing divisor. In this paper the author introduces a symbol from the quotient group of the zero-th cohomology group over the subvariety with the coefficient of the Milnor \(K\)-group sheaf into the group of harmonic cochains on the graph of the fiber over a given closed point of the curve. The main result says that the symbol is an injection. Several properties are also obtained in the paper by virtue of the calculus of logarithmetic differentials. These results are related to motivic cohomology groups and reciprocity laws. Unfortunately, there are minor typos in the paper.
