Let \(N\) be the three-dimensional Heisenberg group and \((\pi_\lambda, L^2(\mathbb R))\) the Schrödinger representation of \(N\), where \(\Lambda={\mathbb R}\backslash\{0\}\). In this paper B. Currey and A. Mayeli investigate wavelet systems on \(\mathbb R^2\) associated with wavelet systems on \(N\). Let \(I\subset\Lambda\) and \(g\in L^2(I\times\mathbb R)\). We say that \(g\) is a Gabor filed over \(I\) if, for a.e. \(\lambda\in I\), \(|\lambda|^{1/2}g(\lambda,\cdot)\) is the Gabor generator of a Parseval frame for \(L^2(\mathbb R)\), and that \(I\) is a Heisenberg wavelet set if every Gabor field over \(I\) is a mother-wavelet for \(L^2(\mathbb R^2)\). They show that \(I\) is a Heisenberg wavelet set if and only if \(I\) is translation congruent with a subset of the unit interval and \(I\) is dilation congruent with the Shannon set.
