The main purpose of this paper is to present a detailed proof of the parametric homotopy principle for holomorphic immersions of Stein manifolds into Euclidean spaces that was only sketched in the original work of \textit{M. Gromov} [Partial differential relations. Berlin: Springer (1986; Zbl 0651.53001)]. In addition, the homotopy principle with approximation on holomorphically convex sets is proved. The crux of the proof involves the use of a jet transversality theorem for holomorphic maps in order to obtain a semi-transversality condition needed in Lemma \(A_4''\) in [loc. cit., p. 69].
