The authors investigate a generalized projective synchronization for a class of chaotic systems with parameter mismatching, unknown external excitation, and uncertain input nonlinearity. The generalized projective synchronization in practical type (GPSPT) of uncertain horizontal platform systems with parameter mismatching, unknown external excitation, and an unknown input nonlinearity is studied. Using the differential inequality methodology, a tracking control is offered to realize the GPSPT for such horizontal platform systems with unknown external excitation and uncertain input nonlinearity. Numerical results are presented.
