Extension of sections via adjoint ideals (Q663224): Difference between revisions

The authors prove an extension theorem of sections of a line bundle from a certain divisor to the normal projective ambient variety. As an application, they obtain base point freeness of a certain line bundle on a normal projective variety. As an application of the relative version of the extension theorem, they obtain the invariance of the plurigenera defined by the line bundle.
