    Let \(k\) be a finitely generated field over \(\mathbb Q\). Consider an abelian scheme \(E\) over a geometrically connected, smooth variety \(X\) defined over \(k\). Let \(\eta \) be the generic point of \(X\) and \(x\in X\) a closed point. If \(\mathfrak g_\ell \) and \(x(\mathfrak g_\ell )\) are the Lie algebras of the \(\ell \)-adic Galois representations for abelian varieties \(E_\eta \) and \(E_x\), then \(x(\mathfrak g_\ell )\) is embedded in \(\mathfrak g_\ell \) by specialization. In this paper the author proves that the set \(\{x \in X\) closed point \(\mid x(\mathfrak g_\ell ) \subsetneq \mathfrak g_\ell \}\) is independent of \(\ell \).
