The authors set up a useful criterion to prove the Feller property of Riemann manifolds. Their idea is to use a characterisation of the Feller property, due to Azencott, as minimal solutions of certain Dirichlet problems. The method of proof is purely deterministic, using mainly results from the elliptic equation theory.
