The papers is organized in 8 sections. Section 1, ``Introduction'', presents basics notions (radial basis function, native space, Sobolev regularity, piecewise polyharmonic function) which are used in the paper. Section 2, ``Operators and Profile of Radial Functions'', contains other basic results, like: profile of a function, Bessel functions and basic properties, functions with \((d,k)\) regularity. In Section 3 the author considers functions which are piecewise in \(Z_2\) and have the Sobolev regularity \((2,k)\). Next, he constructs a family of polyharmonic radial functions having \(k\) nontrivial pieces. The main properties of the mentioned functions are proved. In Section 4 the same problem is solved in the case when the polyharmonic radial function have exactly one nontrivial piece. In Section 5, Section 6, Section 7, Section 8 the author examines, in terms of regularity, the effect of restricting the radially symmetric function to a lower dimensional space having the same parity.
