In this paper, the authors study invariant subspaces of the Hardy space over the bidisk based on inner sequences. Their aim is to find the operators \(T\) on a Hilbert space \(H\) for which Beurling type theorems hold. For Parts I and II, see [Arch. Math. 95, No. 5, 439--446 (2010; Zbl 1219.47017)] and [New York J. Math. 16, 489--505 (2010; Zbl 1220.47010)], respectively.
