The goal of this paper is to propose a general algorithm for recursively constructing equivariant moving frames, for both finite-dimensional Lie group actions and infinite-dimensional Lie pseudo-groups. The present method provides also explicit relationships to the moving frames and invariants of Lie subgroups. A large class of examples gives a better image of this succesful procedure.
