A derived enhancement of a moduli space is a derived structure coming from a nilpotent thickening of the structure sheaf. The cotangent complex of a derived enhancement can be regarded as a replacement complex of the cotangent complex of the moduli space. The obstruction theory introduced by Behrend and Fantechi is an axiomatization of the replacement complex. The main result of the paper under review, is that any obstruction theory on a Deligne-Mumford stack comes from the structure of a spectral Deligne-Mumford stack on the same underlying topos. Editorial remark: For additional information, see also the erratum [ibid. 19, No. 5, 2993--2994 (2015; Zbl 1327.14015)].
