The paper studies Lagrangian submanifolds of the standard symplectic space \(\mathbb R^4\). Smooth (Lagrangian) self-isotopies of such a submanifold \(L\) define the smooth (Lagrangian) monodromy group of the Lagrangian submanifold \(L\). The main results are concerned with such monodromy groups. In particular, the author proves that (Theorem 1.1) if \(L\) is a Clifford torus then its Lagrangian monodromy group is a freely generated group of two generators, and its smooth monodromy group, which of course contains the Lagrangian monodromy, has one more generator (Theorem 1.3).
