Summary: We study the convergence of implicit Picard iterative sequences for strongly accretive and strongly pseudocontractive mappings. We have also improved the results of \textit{Lj. Ćirić} et al. [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser.~A, Theory Methods 70, No.~12, A, 4332--4337 (2009; Zbl 1225.47092)].
