The main result of this paper is that the irreducibility in the sense of fine topology implies the uniqueness of invariant probability measures (for a general right Markov process). The authors also prove that this irreducibility is strictly weaker than the usual uniqueness condition, namely the strong Feller property plus irreducibility in the sense of original topology.
