This paper is concerned with the Split-Differential Algebraic Equations method in the framework on both large and small problems and by using special projectors. The desired solution is obtained by the linear combination of the solutions of the differential and algebraic parts. This method leads to a decoupled system of dimension \((\mu+1)n\), where \(n\) is the tractability index. In the present paper the authors check whether the decoupled system preserves the physical properties of the initial differential algebraic equations system. The numerical accuracy of the decoupled and undecoupled system are also compared. Some industrial applications illustrate the feasibility of this method in the context of some concrete models.
