Summary: Here, we show that the main results in the papers [\textit{I. Yalcinkaya}, Discrete Dyn. Nat. Soc. 2008, Article ID 860152, 12 p. (2008; Zbl 1161.39013); with \textit{C. Çinar}, Fasc. Math. 43, 171--180 (2010; Zbl 1207.39024); with et al., Appl. Anal. 87, No. 6, 677--687 (2008; Zbl 1146.39024)], as well as a conjecture from the last mentioned paper, follow from a slight modification of a result by \textit{G. Papaschinopoulos} and \textit{C. J. Schinas} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 219, No. 2, 415--426 (1998; Zbl 0908.39003); Commun. Appl. Nonlinear Anal. 5, No. 2, 47--59 (1998; Zbl 1110.39301); Differ. Equ. Dyn.
