Let \(M_n \subset \mathbb{R}^{n+1}\) be a complete hyperbolic affine hypersphere with affine mean curvature \(H < 0\) and cubic form tensor \(C\). The author defines the function \[ \Upsilon(x) := \max \{C(x)(\xi,\xi,\xi) \mid x\in M, \; \xi \in T_xM, \; \|\xi\| = 1 \} \] and derives a differential inequality for \(\Delta \, \Upsilon.\) As a consequence, he proves an upper bound for \(\Upsilon\). Finally, he proves that both inequalities are saturated for hyperbolic affine hyperspheres which are asymptotic to a simplicial cone.
