This article presents connections between systems of integers (in number fields and division algebras) and higher dimensional geometry. The examples are rings of integers in quadratic number fields, followed by Hamiltonian quaternions and octonions. Various systems of integers in these algebras as well as their unit groups are related to lattices, honeycombs and Moufang loops.
