    The mathematical differential equations of the optimal control of leukaemia therapy involve the logarithm of the state, therefore some troublesome specific problems. A change of variable simplifies the model. Solutions of the Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation are obtained by using so-called pseudo-solutions.
