This paper is concerned with some interior regularity properties for potential functions of optimal transportation problems with power costs. The problem to be studied is seen as a perturbation of the Monge-Ampère equation. The first part of this paper deals with a quick review on optimal transportation for convex costs. The proof of the main result combines a comparison to the optimal transport problem with quadratic cost to obtain a good initial control, and a comparison principle for Dirichlet solutions, which allows to show that the potential is close to a quadratic polynomial locally.
