This paper is devoted to the study of eigenvalues for self-adjoint Toeplitz operators with real symbols associated to the Neil algebra and the algebra of bounded analytic functions on the annulus. Here, the author considers the Hardy space on the annulus in the sense of \textit{D. Sarason} [Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 56, 78 p. (1965; Zbl 0127.07002)]. The Neil algebra \(\mathcal A\) is the subalgebra of \(H^\infty(\mathbb D)\), the Banach algebra of all bounded analytic functions on the disk, given by \[ \mathcal A=\{ \varphi\in H^\infty(\mathbb D):\varphi'(0)=0\}. \] The main results of this paper are the existence of eigenvalues for Toeplitz operators on the annulus (Section 2), existence of eigenvalues for Toeplitz operators on \(\mathcal A\) (Section 3) and extremal representations of \(\mathcal A\) (Section 4).
