A group \(G\) is called a T-group if normality in \(G\) is a transitive relation, i.e. if all subnormal subgroups of \(G\) are normal. It is well-known that an infinite polycyclic group is Abelian, provided that all its finite homomorphic images are T-groups. Recall also that a group \(G\) is called a \(T_0\)-group if the Frattini factor group \(G/\Phi(G)\) is a T-group, and that \(G\) is a \(T_1\)-group if the factor group of \(G\) with respect to its hypercentre has the T-property. In the paper under review, the authors describe the structure of polycyclic groups whose finite homomorphic images are \(T_0\)-groups, and that of polycyclic groups whose finite quotients have the \(T_1\)-property.
